Dr. Bond is Corporate Director of Product Responsibility for The Dow Chemical Company. Since 1996, he has provided leadership for Dow’s product stewardship programs globally, including experts who ensure Dow’s products are safe for their intended use and comply with all regulatory and Dow requirements He also directs Dow’s Toxicology & Environmental Research and Consulting organization, which provides testing, research and consulting services for Dow’s businesses.

> Bond joined Dow as an epidemiologist in 1979. In 1991, he moved to the product stewardship area and in 1995 was appointed Global Director of Product Stewardship. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, a Masters degree in Public Health and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan.

Bond has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal articles on epidemiology research and product stewardship. In 1988, he was elected a Fellow in the American College of Epidemiology. He has served as an advisor to various government agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the National Cancer Institute, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registries, the Centers for Disease Control, and others. He currently chairs the American Chemistry Council’s Health, Product and Science Policy Team, and is Secretary and Board member for the Alliance for Chemical Awareness.
